Mazdaspeed front bumper and fog lights

Bericht door MX-3-Tom »

Hi guys,

since two days there is an user from our german MX-3 Community who builds the Mazdaspeed front bumper.
I am very interested in this front bumper because I love it! :bier:

I know, some of you also have this bumper mounted on there MX-3.

Is there any possibility to use the MX-3 fog lights in combination with the Mazdaspeed front bumper?

I really don't want to give up my lovely fog lights. ;)

Greetz!
Tom

It's possible, but int depends on how accurate the mold is. So you might need to do some minor modification.

I don't have the lights mounted either, I find them ugly and was glad to take them off! I think the mx-3 front on my car looks so much better right now.

Hmmm...two opinions.

@Yence:
Could you explain, what you have to modify?
Do you have some pictures?

@All:
Do you have some high quality pictures of the mazdaspeed front bumper? So I could fake the fog lights into the bumper on my car. :)

I didn't. The shop I had the ms bumper sprayed and mounted said the brackets of the foglights needed slight modding for fitment, I told them to leave the fogs out.
There's a few guys on mx-3.com that do have their ms front mounted with the oem fogs.

here you have a pic you can photoshop your fogs on :D :

you could also buy universal foglights and mouth them in the bumper.

1 thing i find kind of disturbing is the loss of the pulleye at the front of the car...

mounting this bumper will make your car really immobile when placing this front, what if the engine dies how do you pull the car to your garage?
